Wow this is a real downer when I think of doing an SR swap, if a built car like yours went for 8 what am I gonna get for mine with a stock SR? 6? I already paid 4 for it stock and it will cost like 6 Gs for a good SR swap…and that’s with no aero + wheels

If your going BMW, go no less than a 5 series, the 3 series just doesnt drive as well as higher models. The difference between a 3 series and a 5 series is light and day. At John’s dealership (Toronto240sx) i drove both a 320i and a 5 series (can’t remember which one) but the 5 was just way better.

I mean, sure technically speaking they are, but when I go and say I’m gonna buy a japanese car, I sure as hell am not going to a Suzuki dealership. And the 3 series is a wonderful driving machine, you don’t know what you’re talking about.
The 3 series is junk. Tiny, cramped and slow. A Maxima from the same generation will embarass it, and your friends won’t be sitting on each other. Even bitches are getting smart enough to know a 3 series isn’t a real Beemer, especially if it’s 15 years old.
The 5 series are nicer, but cost twice what they’re worth and about 7 times that to fix.
If you’re buying and building a 240 to turn a profit, you’re better off doing it the SON way of buying a $200 piece of junk, fiberglassing the frame, painting it black, and selling it as a “clean SR-ready project” for $2,000. If you’re real slick, you can even work in a finders fee by looking in the LF 240SX ads.
Congratulations on finally grasping the most obvious thing ever. Modified cars aren’t worth shit unless the buyer is an idiot or the car has legitimate value.
