lookin to get my headers put on but they never sent me the ext piece(only for the catted kit)
Another truck forum member sent me an extension he had but the flang is too big

on the left is the y and the right is the ext piece just need a smaller flange.If any of you shop boys have one let me know

the diameter of the socket on left is 3" and the od of flange is 3-1/8" but flared so they dont sit flush…

its pipes from my cat back that had to be cut off for the installation of my connecting piece to the headers… It’s a 3" exhaust kit.

edit: they should be overnighting you the right part lol

yea ive told them that but hes checkin w obx as the kit i have is the resonated not actual catted kit which that adapter is only available for

i believe its supposed to be flush

Flange on the left is a taper meant for a conical doughnut gasket. Flange on right is a short depth ball/socket setup.

I believe I have a 3" male stainless D flange at the shop. Cut from an aftermarket Evo DP I modified. Call or text me tomorrow around noon and I’ll dig through the scrap bins and locate it.

I just checked to see what my extra flanges look like but theyre 3 bolt female ends.

Damn, I thought maybe somebody wouldve had a use for them.

I have some giant OBX flange here on the shelf. lol ill snap a pic and post it to see if you need it, if adam doesnt have a solution for you.

I need to flange the goes inside if that one.But after some thinking about my 07 silverado the flanges didnt sit flush stock.I got my headers on last night with the adapter and it didnt leak…So ill give it a week and see what happens,

you could always cut the one like this off the other pipe and put this one on. its inside dia is bigger it looks like than the female one you have there, and the ball (male) seat would fit inside this one. Still not the correct fitment though.

bust out tht copper RTV!
