looking for a low profile floor mount ebrake lever assy

Im removing the center console in the cavy, and the damn ebrake handle is like 8" off the floor due to the height of the original console.

Im looking to find an assembly that sits tight to the floor.

The only thing I can think of so far is MK1 VW. The only problem is, and Im sure it could be overcome with some bracketry, is that the base for it is part of the floor.

Id like to have something factory,but Im not sure what cars would have such a lever. Aftermarket ones are rediculously priced and too shiney.

Thoughts anyone?

Found this pic on honda-tech. http://www.darkforcez.com/images/Onlinepics/13SH20.gif looks very promising.

Now to find one to see how it would work.

Bought a 91 si one on ebay for $20 shipped.

you should have a few of these laying around shoulnd’t you? auto’s don’t need ebrakes unless it’s winter. yours don’t see winter.
