I was wondering if there’s a jdm centre console for the 90 240sx?
i wanna try my hand at drifting next spring, but the handbrake is in a BAD place in the car - it just goes up right into my leg (could never drive and pull e-brake at the same time).
I’m 6’5, so my legs just go right up next the steering wheel - not much room.
figuring maybe the jdm version of the same part would just relocate the e-brake to the passenger side. not the smartest place for the e-brake, but probably the best/easiest option for building up a little drift car to learn with.
If all else fails try drifting without the e-brake. I personally consider e-brake a higher-level technique than a n00b one. But you always need to be comfortable while driving so focus on that like GT said
the porblem with using the “jdm” centre console, is that you will need to get the ebrake mount from a skyline or s13. The bracket is reversed of the currnt one you own. I’ve been searching for one for my cefiro for a month now.
That’s exactly what I did, Got myself a Sparco Rally wheel with a 25mm
dish, a HKB Extended Hub and a Megan 2" Quick Release put my seat
all the way back and I got no issues pullin’ the ebrake while drifting.
