Yea, that’s us guys at Speednation that are moving to Castle Shannon. The building is the bright gold one with the checker board stripes on the side, right on route 88 down from the fire department. You won’t be able to miss it.
Anyway, all we’ve finished so far is a complete interior renovation so we can sell all the models, diecasts, shirts, books and other stuff like that. That part of our business should be open around the first of the July. We haven’t even started on the addition to the back that the dyno will go into. Hopefully we’ll have that project finished over the next few months.
That’s a lot later than we had originally planned, but you cannot even begin to understand how difficult it is to get all the permits and plans approved for an automotive business-not to mention the insurance coverage. We’re in our fourth or fifth plan revision for the addition right now. We would have been better off buying a large enough building in the first place but who knew all the problems we’d run into.
Anyway, when we do get the dyno down there we’d be happy to have any cars (American or foreign) stop by and I know we’re going be be a LOT cheaper than any other place in the area. I’ll update everyone when we’re getting close to having the dyno open.
basicly… speednation is friendly to Hondas… but his dyn will be down for a while. there is a dyno in Greensburg. he charges $125 hr. but you have to do your own tuning. contact the speed shoppe in Honda village. He can get you time on that dyno.
I was going to use speednations dyno about a month ago… but I found out that it was being moved. so I just left my system tuned safe. (rich and low timming) but not so rich it’s pukeing out smoke.
That 350z is sick, everyone who went to my car show should remember it. very nice car. im sure if they can put together a car like that, they know what their doing.
I saw that 350Z in person when I went to a car show last week. It is pretty sweet…looks like they know what they are doing. They aslo had a S/C 350Z that was pretty sweet as well.
Jeff Evans Tuning “aka Boosted-Hyrbid” out in Reading does all the honda tuning for my friends…he’s basicly a genius and imo its worth the 4hour drive out to his shop… www.boosted-hybrid.com
I would never drive my car 4 hours away to get it tuned unless I had a trailor. if you break something out there it will cost a fortune to get it back. on top of that if you are spending that much with driving costs you could have jason herra or mase come here and tune it. jeff is good but jason and mase are better from what I have seen
shit, hopefully within a few months, if all goes as planned, we’d be able to help you out, but for right now, i can’t tell you who would actually be able to dyno tune what you need done. most places like boosted-hybrid and them are more about tuning hondata’s…
