Looking for insight. v. Home AV set up.

Run an HDMI from the basement to a keystone plate in a cabinet in the living room and store your PS3, etc. there.

Believe or not, people do run to the basement to do just that. I know it sounds stupid.

Or if they really have a serious set up, they get a multi-disc blu-ray carousal and changing the movie is a button click away.

As far as the 360, PS3 thing, there’s gotta be UHF controls out.

TV above fireplace = FTMFL

my fireplace is to high for a tv

Although I used to think the same, I think the manufacturers actually started to take in to account that people will hang their product above fireplaces despite all the warnings of voided warranties do to excessive heat/improper ventilation.

Still I wouldn’t put a >$1000 TV above a fireplace.

agreed.

i am still up in arms about where i am going to place them. I might stop out to the speaker shop…? and ask a few questions.

mike, any word on wire?

Did you want to try for a larger gauge, or do you mean me checking to see what I have in stock? My stock looks like it is either close, or already over inflated on what I have! I even tried checking our buy in price, and somehow the computer matches what I actually paid for it. that never happens. I can still try and get you a lower number. I will find some account that won’t get flagged below 10% which is as low as the employee account goes.

It has nothing to do with a warranty or damage to the TV.

Do u have 14gauge in stock? I also have to pick up some motion sensors…

I actually am not sure if we have any motion detectors at the moment, we had to send them back due to recall (not sure how those can be THAT BAD, but whatever they were).

I will check on the 14ga of this, and whatever else I might have in audio quality wire.
