They aren’t THAT good…then again last time I tried one was like 10+ years ago
I could see them used for things like extended backpacking trips, etc.

all the ones i actually went and added up while at Fort Drum last month were only 1200-1400 calories each. Another guy said OMG 3200 per MRE… not so true

they are VERY good and VERY filling.
Depends, winter or summer MRE. Get the white bagged ones, and your pushing 4000 calories easy. The summer ones are usually 1200-2000 each. At least they were before all the stupid new fofo ones.
