Both mine and the sellers lawyers have signed off on the offer I put in, so the deal is official. 3 bed/1 bath cape in Tonawanda, here’s some pictures:
I got it for a good price, but it’s going to need some serious work over the next few years. Exterior on both the garage and house need to be painted, garage needs a new tear off roof, gonna need a new furnace and hot water tank, and plenty of other smaller things. Still, I spent the better part of a year searching, and all in all I’m happy with how it turned out. Good things come to those who wait and all that nonsense. Stay tuned for updates and improvements, I’ve got my hands full with this thing.
Would that I could, but I won’t have free money to put into that for quite a while, definitely one of my eventual goals though. But having it not finished certainly won’t stop me from building a bar, and putting a tv down there with at least one console. Also, my brothers planning on turning his basement entirely into a gym, so he’s gonna let me have the pool table. Boo ya!
I know exactly where this is…you’re down the street from my parents. Only about 3 minutes the other side of Sheridan from me. Lemme know if you need anything. Neighborhood is great!
Thanks for the congrats all. I’m getting the $7,500 from the first home club, and a 3% fixed interest rate with the SONYMA loan. So I feel like I made out pretty well.
Planning to do that first thing, before I move anything into the house. Now’s as good a time as ever to learn how to grout and tile, how hard can it be right?..right?
For home improvement stuff I’ve actually heard good things about Grossmans Bargain Outlet in NT, anyone have any input on that place?
