i was talking to a guy who has a vw and he just installed lowering springs but he says the back sits a little lower than the front does so he said something about buying lowering caps for the front…these things go between the spring and shock tower and apparently lower the car a little so it will sit even with the rear.
has anybody heard of these things before because i havent?
another question…are these lowering caps the same thing as upper pillow ball mounts?
what exactely do upper pillow ball mounts do?
i belive they are basically like uppermounts that just seat higher, lowering the car while maintaining the shock/spring travel. They may replace the uppermounts im assuming they do…
i never heard of strut mounts that would lower the ride height of your car. CT sells spring inserts and clamps that can raise or lower your springs… but they look pretty ghetto
