LQ9 into E39

Hell yes

Cut out open

GV has a better video

Hope he held his phone better too

Congrats on the build man!

Congrats on finishing this thing!!!

I posted the video I took right below the picture I added a few posts above.

Nice numbers, so that’s with an LS6 cam and stock exhaust manifolds?

Lets dance

In to see this dance.

sure Scott, get a hold of me, i am trying to get some of the other BMW locals together this weekend anyhow.

John, it’s stock LS6 Z06 cam, stock cast iron CTS-V manifolds, stock 540i exhaust with cutout. all pretty run of the mill. even still have the big honkin secondary cats and y-resonator.

Nice #'s congrats

hows this thing holding up any pics i love pics

nothing too crazy going on, just putting miles on it and wrapping up loose ends.

-I finally installed the HVAC fresh air intakes back under the hood, which is great because the gaping holes in the firewall were causing some nasty fumes during city driving.
-reconnected the PCV line to the intake manifold
-installed/realigned the hood, installed new Bowden cables as the old ones were stretched and garbage

besides that I’ve just been driving it to work and beating on it, miles of smiles and burnouts. I am already used to the power, wanting more. Going to talk to JD about a cat delete and some exhaust reconfiguration this weekend…

I stopped by Shredd and Ragan a few weeks back when it was just barely on the road and they snapped these. Still had no hood and no HVAC intakes, lol. Sloppy special.

Since then I cleaned things up as mentioned and snapped this quick one before heading out on a nice 3 hour drive Saturday with the woman.

My buddy shot some video of it exercising the rear tires in a parking lot, I’ll see if I can get that up in the next few days.

I am also going to see a man about some wheels tonight. I am sticking with M Parallels, just wider than what I have now (square setup reps, fronts are sunken in like 4 inches)

Wow, thats some nice split-loom you have there sir.

Also, about god damn time with heaters and wider wheels you sissy.

Sweet

Glad to see its out and about…cant wait to see it in person.

Like the GTO covers.

You would…lol

Happy to see this wrapped up for the most part. Way to push through the BS and get it done man!

i still have a good amount of it left over if you want it back, jew!

I’ll try to make it out to either Thunderdome or S&R this week, as well as Bubble Tea Tuesday night.

Everyone keeps saying “wow, you got it done relatively quickly”. It certainly doesn’t feel like that, working on it 7 days a week after work in the dead of winter sucked balls so much. I’m just happy to be driving it, hurting some tires, and making it out to events.

I feel the same way about that old bike i build… except mine was cheap, a POS, and required nowhere near as much labor and engineering as yours.

Regardless, to you.
