it was definitely a busy weekend. i drove up to Waterfest in NJ with a friend and had a great time. Entered the burnout contest completely on a whim, ended up blowing a radiator (laying it on the limiter a LOT wasn’t helping), but it was something i’ll remember for a long time to come. Despite the grueling heat and crappy traffic it was still an awesome experience.

slapped in a new rad in 30 mins and made it home 6 hours with no issue. Drove it to work this morning. What a beast.

Honest to God…I cant stand people who think the only way to to a burnout is to bounce the car off the limiter…there is no need for it.
You worked too long and hard on the car to risk blowing it up by banging it of the limiter for 2 minutes straight
However…burnouts still rule
unfortunately I pulled up to the start line just as they announcing the winner, some guy in a shit pile MK3.
The vendor displays by APR and Unitronic and such were cool, and there were some nice personal vehicles, but there was lots of stance and hipster :tdown:
It was more so to please the crowd.
