LS1's owners.. tuning?

who do you guys go to locally for tuning?

i recently had a stall put in and it keeps throwing that stupid P0751 code.

i also want have the converter lockup at a lower mph (currently it doesnt lock up until 45-50mph)

ne know of someone local that can help me out.

So you have a FormulaLS1? :snky:

A quick fix is just to drive your car in D not OD ! thats what i do for now. Deleting the code with HP Tuners only will work for so long :meh2:
But r u sure its not the dreaded 1870 code for tranny slipage? This means the torque converter (TCC) valve wore out nad your tranny needs to be rebuilt!

Totally worth making the trip to Rochester for. Mike is a great tuner and will definitely take care of you.

We can take care of that for you over here at New Era! We are doing a dyno day tomorrow, so if you can make it, we can probably take a look at it. Otherwise, this week whenever you want to make an appointment.

hey guys, i double checked and yes its def the P0751 code. it actually started poppin up after i had my TM deleted 50%. then it went away when i stayed away from any WOT runs… then i put my stall in and it comes up all the time.

I was actually planning on going to New Era for some tuning once I decided on … and have the funds to get a cam in my car. all i’m looking for now is just the code fix and have the lockup speed changed… I’m in West Seneca, so i was hoping maybe someone closer could help with that simple stuff for now…

edit…

i might check out Kennedy’s tuning because i work right near NT. thanks for the help

NP , give us a call if you have any questions , we can take care of anything and everything with your car if need be .
