Did you change to the 1 step colder plugs when you went with stage 2? I didn’t… car runs fine IMO. No rough idle or anything. 20,xxx miles.

From what I have seen so far, it is rare for a Jetta to run what it should.

Yeah i really can’t believe he was running low 15’s…iirc chipped 1.8t’s are supposed to be low 14’s mayb high 13’s w/ a good driver? I saw a silver 1.8t beetle, chipped, custom side-exit exhaust run 13.9 @ 100mph
That was stock before I put on the N75.
Actually, after I put that on the times got worse.
It caused a boost leak in the DV cause the spring was too weak.
I can’t take credit for the driver mod however, Joe ran it tonight.
Run down of my car’s performance tonight:
Joe takes Pete’s advice, launches at 2500rpm, car gets traction and stalls.
Joe launches at 4000rmp, 32 psi in tires, gets traction, runs best time of night.
Install N75, boost leak, 25psi in tires, 3800rpm launch, worse time, better trap speed.
yea mid-low 14;s is about where they are suppose to me at about 96-97. i ran a 14.4 at 97 with full bolt ons… 15.4 @90 is pretty quick for stock. what was the 60ft on that run?
He needs to work on his launch. I told him not to give it so much gas from the start and to not drop the clutch. IDK if he ran again or listened to what I told him. He’s probably spinning hard off the line and cutting horrible 60’s. I can almost guarantee it’s the driver (unless he has a boost leak or something but I doubt that).

Victim 3. Some tool in a C6 Z06 stalled it on his attempt at a burnout :idiots then almost stalled it again on his second attempt :headbang :confused
