Yiff in hell furfag
well after i the 2nd try and i hit 17s i just stoped becasue i was making me look like a RETARD AND making my car look like shit when i know if some one who new how to drive at the track could hit 15s
You should have asked Brett if he wanted to take it for a rip!
well a slipping clutch could cause the 17. Def have someone else drive it to confirm before you go and buy a new one.
Bring it next week and I’ll make a few runs ;D
my first run at LVD in any car was in my SER, 14.61, my best run so far is a 14.59 :lol
youre right, because i dont know what a slipping clutch feels like. im done with that car too, i told him the clutch was junk, he said his monkey friend at goodyear said its the boost controller not letting it spool up… yet the RPMS jump up by the thousand when you floor it, yet boost doesnt increase… whatever. he insulted my intelligence. Dom, this is what i was talking about. im all for helping people until they refuse my help or disrespect me. you did both.
Coming from someone who called a tune “trash” without ever looking at it or seeing a log…
no and i dont care to. get off moons nuts. jays05 went through and fixed the timing dips in those areas and with out changing a hardware wise he picks up 3-4mph and 4 tenths with the same 60ft’s… weird how that works. and when a 2.1 GT35R evo only makes 440whp on AEM EMS, ill say the tuner is not doing a great job when Buschur makes a ton more power on the same mustang dyno with a 35r setup. your car seems to run tip top on as well.
youre an idiot and i was being sarcastic, that kids clutch is junk. i know what a slipping clutch feels like so dont start with me pal. proof is in the numbers. travis car went faster after jay cleaned up the tune. therefore the previous “tune” was flawed.
you never made it clear that you already diagnosed the issue… thank for being a dick in your response though, I really appreciate it.
you actually haven’t posted in this thread once about the jetta’s clutch, :stfu
I’m an idiot? Lets examine the facts:
-Car was on a dead clutch (stock) before being replaced…where’s the power supposed to be put down?
-Car was tuned on STI top mount…top mount is now a monster aftermarket piece
-Car was tuned with a working o2 sensor…o2 sensor died causing the car to run like crap…no front o2 sensor=sti ecu going to 2ndary fuel/timing maps
-Jay “cleaned up” a few load cell areas for timing (from what I understand/was told)
The car was seeing a lot more between shifts and the ecu was compensating by pulling timing…there was no “flaw” in the tune…the car was just finally running somewhat correctly and needed a brush up.
Seth is currently unavailable to fix anything because he’s on vacation.
Fact > Fiction
car ran 12.7@108 with the new clutch in it… with a cleaned up timing map the car goes 12.3@111 on same clutch, same 60ft… to be honest i dont care, im just glad travis can stop complaining about his car… i know you are SETH@MOONPERFORMANCE are homies and youll defend him until death do you part, but his tuning abilities are sub par is seems from what alot of his cars do. that is all.
and gran massa, i wasnt driecting the comment as to you saying i didnt, it was about the kid telling me the clutch was good at the track, then posting in here that the clutch was junk, after i drove the car a few days ago and showed him it was slipping, he had no idea what it was
tune was done on a dead o2 sensor and a slippin clutch so how is that a spot on tune timing curves were the same before and after add ons so ya might wanna get off seth,s ball bag and others
Right seth does a great job tuning cars. Byrons 11.7 118 green powered sti and travis’s 12.7 at 108…Id get a moon tune
:wow
ok brett im not trying to get on your bad side im say a tech a goodyear drove my car and fixed why the rpms were jumping up the boost controller i had was junk pluged in the stock one and it ran fine then i got a new one a forge one and now they car boost at 14lbs and satys with it no jumping rpms or anything you said the clucth was doing that why would it do it in idle when its not even in gear im just saying you know alot but i went and had someone else look at it a friend of mine and he fixed the problem i know now i need a new clucth and i am willing to get one when ever i pm you and you didnt respond let me know thanks
:ohnoes
i also told you that boost controller you had need to go. and that you should go back to a true DV rather than a recirculating Greddy valve… get the car running correctly then worry about going faster. the mbc on a stock software car is a no go.
