well im chiping the car in a week going to charge it on the card and i have money for the clutch do you still want to help me put it in.and sorry for not listening to you the first time i mean i didnt really know you so i had to get another person to look at it :hug

clutch before chip.

Im going to have to chime in. i was very pleased with the moon tune that i received. it was, however subpar for top performance numbers at the track. the car when logged… even WITH the ginormous new topmount was pulling 6* of timing between shifts and yanking 4-5* of timing from 5600-6800rpms even when IN gear. the timing load at high rpms was blotchy at best. timing was added at 68-7200rpms and was smoothed throughout the rpm range by jays05. the car immediately stopped shift knocking and the high rpm timing issue was resolved as well resulting in 3-4mph higher traps and nearly 1/2 second better ET with the same 60 foot. as i stated previously… seths tune was “in the ballpark, but wasnt a home run” im not knocking the tuner by any means. seth is a great guy and top notch 100%, but he NORAMLLY errors on the side of caution and leaves some on the table. im very pleased with my current results and have no ill will towards anyone thats touched my car since the new block was installed.

I usually use the tree just beacuse it helps me with my launch timing / coordination. Just a personal preference I guess.

i dont normally race my car so its an adventure everytime i do. its tough to find a good spot with my car, its either burn or bog(then burn) on street tires.

yea chris my launches sucked …trac control got me!!!And my cel is on again for the 2nd o2 today just came on its running a rough idle. found a leak might be that ,gotta look some more tommow

you fell victim to the eBay down pipe with the CEL for the rear O2… even with my eBay dp, i never got the CEL, ever. you should be able to have the second o2 deleted by APR assuming thats who you got chipped by

yea but its not throwing the 420 code its a p1176 and i just replaced the rear 02 last week.had spacers in it before and fowlers…soo far it lasted 3 days with no cel then until now it just came on …that was just streight o2 to the downpipe

are you familiar with driving VW’s? i bet youll miss 3rd or grind it. and with the trap speeds hes getting, power is way down. good luck with that… get it running straight then track it… sounds like the 02 sensor is fouling out

What did he trap? I just know his ET (15.3 or w/e). I bet I could cut a better time than that.

Wait so it was knocking, and pulling timing to stop the knock…but Jay added MORE timing and it got BETTER?
