exactly what you said from above…quoted from LS1tech…

“DO NOT do a burnout. This only makes the tires greasy and does not promote traction. If you think it does, your cars either too slow to matter or you’re a bad driver. You only need to do a quick spin-NOT IN THE WATER BOX- to clean rocks and stuff off the tires. Also, dropping air pressue in you tires doesn’t help, it just cups the tread, making the contact patch smaller.”

I agree with the cleaning them off, but tire pressure plays a role in traction :confused Put 45psi in your tires then try running them at say 25, id guaruntee your 60’ would drop.

if it does not rain i will be there im not sure if im going to run my car though its needs a tune or something idk im waited for my HP tuner softwear so i can figure it out

I actually did this lol…my street tire pressure is 40psi. Did a run, got a shitty 2.4 60’ (didnt heat the tires up)…then I put them at 22psi, and was still getting 2.4 60’s @ 13.4…one run, cut a 2.3 @ 13.2 :headbang

I ran at 35psi last time and got a 2.2 60’.

i want to run the beater but the new clutch doesnt have enough miles on it :idiots been in boston all weekend.

My clutch doesnt have enough miles on it either.

man up s0n. just romp it. its mated by now

Yeah Paul quit being a woman

Ill be there!

low 11’s?!

hopefully I wont brake anything being my first time going up ;D

I was told to drive it 500 miles. So far its only been a little over 200.

:asshole

Id like to get it to the track atleast once more this year but most likely not tomorrow.

So start drivin. :lmao

If you have a brand new clutch and flywheel surface there is no break in. You can go out drive it around for a couple miles and bang gears all you want.

Im just going by what I was told by the shop that put it in. Its a Kevlar clutch. I also had new gears put in.

I drove the car most of the weekend and today to work and Im taking it to work tomorrow.

i will be there, hopefully i can get out of the 16 sec range!!!

13’s or bust.

ill be there

i’ll probably go as well
