Negative. Almost all old ones are .30, some have been 30-06 and newer ones mostly .308.
wood stock, springfield and nostalgic. Cossey this is all you.
fuck.
and i thought i knew something about WWII
If it was .308, it’d be in my gun cabinet already.
During WWII, almost all of the M1’s were .30-06 I believe. If that helps.
Will you do $800 cash tomorrow? Very serious.
well that wouldnt be that nostalgic, quit being a picky snatch.
I want .308. Cheaper to shoot, more readily available, and I already have about 450rds of it with nothing to shoot it lol.
you man up and buy!!!
Beautiful rifle and good price GLWS.
WWII era Garands were .30-06 which stands for 30 caliber 1906.
As stated in my second post.
The M1 Carbines stuck with the .30 Carbine.
both of you are right your just talking about different rifles.
There is a .30 carbine that is a blast to shoot (friend has one wish I did too)
As well as the standard full length infantry rifle (M1 garand) which is .30-06.
Same caliber different weapons and cartridges. To clear it up for the people reading the thread that are getting confused.
