I haven’t driven any yet, but thats because no dealership will let me because I’m 17.

yeah its definitly low, thats why last email I sent him I asked if its under warranty. If it is I won’t be to worried about it, now if it isnt, thats when I’m going to ask a few questions. Its also near syracuse in the middle of nowhere, Im not sure if that has anything to do with the price. Maybe thats what the market down there could bear.

The muffler splits into 2 outlets (4 tips). It’s a styling thing. Even most v-motors with 2 exhaust banks dont have true separate exhaust systems.
it looks good but generally I thought it was unaccepted to have more than 1/2 the cylenders you have. He still hasnt gotten back to me on that last message but thats not a problem considdering I only sent it today around 3. I’ll let ya know what he says when he replies back.
yah my car has the LS1…first year of the LS1 was 97 which was introduced in the C5…98-02 they were in the Camaro’s/firebirds as well. Wasnt until 06 (or 05??) when they dropped the LS2 (6.0) into the C6 and GTO’s. They were rated at 400 hp…
their is no difference in the LS1 C5 motors compared to the LS1 in the firebirds/camaro’s. They just had a little higher rating because its a “corvette” and is the highest model sports car GM makes…they didnt want to affect sales and prices by putting a car that cost 15K less, with the same HP rating when in fact…stock for stock they put down nearly the same hp to the rear wheels…
however, my SS had a higher rating then your regular SS because its a SLP model…
