///M5 Photos - Updated April 12

I left on Friday around 11:30am, normally I can make it to Philly in around 5-6 hours. At 7:30pm I rolled into Adam’s apartment… it was not a pleasent drive.

Blind. Shitty road conditions, and I need to buy a truck.

And an omen of what I would be doing when back in Rochester.

Sweet. What are your plans for it?

Parting it out, keeping a few things off of it, like the S38B36 engine, the trans and a few other bits. Other than that…:snky:

PFFFFFFFFFFFT that’s not an A class. That’s a R-Class. RRRRRRRRRRRRR for pirates. Pirates like “Sports Tourers.”

I’m disappointed.

I wonder how many other people have taken pictures of this sign…

your not going to try to wedge that motor in the 3 series are you?

Sweeeet man… put that motor in a go-cart

try? do. its been done many times before…i hope its something more creative like a 2002, or maybe a 944. Bimmer powered porsche? what?

dont worry, when the motor goes in a car, its going to be stupid fast, and look cooler then anything around.

R class is teh Gay.

:jawdrop: amazing …

:pimp: That’s gonna be a sweet swap.

X…

someone please help me find a e34 m5 motor!!!

Nope, it’s not going in my e30, though it’s tempting. Current plans include a GT35R .82, not gonna talk about the chassis just yet.

More pics:

A very small portion of the parts I have (the 5 is still FULL of parts).

Thanks to brent_strong, tnick24, theblue and Max for coming over and helping me unload it from the trailer.

Bluestone proving they are real throwing star wheels (holding them with one finger)

Oh yeah, and the engine is staying in a BMW chassis, sorry to disappoint.

Been working on the throwing star wheels (lightweight, rare) no where near done yet but so far I’ve got them cleaned, masked, resprayed, recleared, next up is polishing and maybe a lathe for the two with the mild curb rash.

When I picked them up.

Not finished, but current progress.

They ought to turn out fairly nice despite a small bit of rash. Gonna polish them Friday night.

hmmm ironic how the bud light sign just kind of fits in the picture…haha gotta love it

is the head sitting on the valves?

and i think the e34 m5 wheels aren’t throwing stars.

these are throwing stars (4 lug replica’s obv)

They are throwing stars, they just dont have the covers, the part that looked like the star was detachable.
