Machining drum brakes

So I have to change my rear drum brakes and was wondering if I have to get them machined or if it’s ok not to. And, if I have to, where is a good place to get this done and what would it cost?

Yes it’s ok to machine drums. I’m not sure exactly how much it is, but it’s not an arm and a leg. If you go to a Midas somewhere, they machine them and their prices are nice too. :slight_smile:
