My parents live in Hudson Falls, in some areas the gas is pooling in the sewage tunnels and blowing the manhole covers in the streets. They are about 5 miles from where this is happening and they say each time it happens they can not only hear it but it rattles the windows in the house. Some pretty nutty stuff!

Ehhh…The albany area didnt get much from irene, but Ive been out to the windham and prattsville areas and they are still FUCKED, months later. I think they JUST reopened the main rd out past windham a few weeks ago
This isn’t a natural disaster. It’s some dumb ass driver (most likely a woman) that hit a gas pump.
The gas pump pumped itself full steam for 30 mins lol dumping almost 1500 /2000 gallons out lol

even better, a possibly drunk 51 year old man in a 2010 challenger. didnt even buy gas, went there and bought beer. i couldnt help but kind of chuckle while reading that, the guy has no memory of it.
