For about a year now, we’ve been lax on enforcing the signature guidelines. That will change on 10/1/06.
In case you forgot what the guidelines are, here they are AGAIN:
- 500x100 sig pic limit. Animation ok; multiple pics OK as long all the pictures put together do not exceed 500x100-
no [quote] tag useage in sigs. (Feel free to continue to quote people saying funny stuff, just leave the tags out of it. Look at my sig for one example of how to quote without [quote] tags. )

Be creative, have fun, but stay in bounds.
We aren’t asking for much. We would like to keep the speed of uploading pages to a tolerable level and increase the efficiency of page viewing.
