Sorry for the wrong location of the thread, but there was no meet section for the Arizona area. Anyways, I’ve got a little meet set up there with a decent amount of MR2OC members and LotusTalk members. Not sure what members on here live in that area, but if there’s any interest, please contact me. It should be a fantastic time.

Just a quick dumb question… Whats the correlation between lotus and Mr2? That they would have a meet together…

I think there is 2 different meets, one for each type of car. BUT I could be completely wrong, doesn’t toyota make some of the motors for lotus?

I’m curious now as well. I always thought the elise had a celica motor in it.

This is a joint MR2OC and LotusTalk meet, just as the thread states. I organized this event, along with my very good friend Kustom Play, an old school UBRF/TeaMR2 member.

And Toyota supplies the 2ZZ engine (former Celica GT-S, among others) for the Elise/Exige/2-Eleven. They have done so since the cars became federalized.
