Megan oil preasure gauge

ok, so here’s the issue. the sensor mgan provided is far to large in diameter to fit into the stock SR spot.

I have also noticed that the factory sensor has about 1.1 ohm of resistance at atmosphere, and the megan has about 2.2 ohm.

is it possible to increase the resistance on the factory sensor so that it will proved the correct signal to the megan gauge.

Or, if an overly elaborate relocation line would be a better option.

thanks.

I just used a 90’ fitting screwed into the block (where the stock sensor is) and then screw the sending unit into the fitting and it points upwards slightly towards 10 o clock without any clearances/fitment issues…

I have read of some people saying not to use a 90’ fitting because they snap off resulting in an oil leak but if you use a quality fitting and have done a good job then there should be no reason for them to snap off. I myself have drove around for 2 seasons now without a single issue
