hahah, i’ve used Memorex CD-R’s and DVD+R’s for years… never a problem.
Maybe you should download ‘CDR Identifier’ and see where your CDR’s came from :dunno:

Hey, might be off topic, but whats the difference between DVD+R and DVD-R?
I bought some DVD+R and my powerbook wont let me write a DVD, it says “no blank DVD in drive”
its the format thats saved on the disk

I want to burn on my computer and view it on DVD players in a house or car.
how long does it take to burn a dvd i got a dvd burner but never used it yet
it means you have to find the format that plays on your dvd player…
just like cdr came out there was cd + - r rw etc
gnocide and whitey burn DVD’s so maybe they will chime in and tell a little more
Danm, i didnt know it was this complicated. I bought some a while ago, and they worked fine, and now i bought DVD+R and they dont work, so I guess i need DVD-R LOL
i burn dvd’s daily… i use memorexdvd+r and dvd+rw both work fine…
some dvd players just suck and won’t play them…
Im not having a problem with them playing, i just cant get my computer to recgonize the DVD+R (its a new computer so i dont think its the software/hardware). I am going to take them back and see what the hell the problem is and have someone explain what the difference is.
