not all hardcore is what you are envisioning. some of it is tough to get past, the growling and what not, but old school NYHC. mid-late 90s was an awesome time for NYHC
i hate people that think hardcore is a form of metal. its a form of punk rock. and if that wasn’t how you wanted your post to come across, well reword it.
nychc>nyhc…albany guys became to self righteous and thats why there is no such thing as albany hardcore anymore. and you can find good harcore from a lot of diff spots, i’m not saying i only listen to nychc but there is no hardcore better then a few bands from nyc imo.

That’s so weird.
I went to highshool with a kid in that band.
Shit. My ex in highschool used to be in it.
Now they’re actually popular locally. Who knew.
I remember shows at house parties where I couldn’t wait to leave.
jesus… these days there so many sub generes of metal… but i group it all as metal… so fuck it…
if its metal i probly listen to it. mostly its slayer, old pantera, killing time, life of agony, iron maiden, testement, coc, sod, anthrax, metallica, megadeth, stigmata, heldunder, section 8, burial, atica, drown before they were one king down, in flames, devil driver, slipknot, shadows fall, killswitch, eh the list gets longer but you get the drift
