In all seriousness, you’re going to be hard pressed to find a $2,000 Miata worth owning.

I’d say a minimum $5,000 budget would get you a solid starter car.

You’ll have luck traveling. Clean ones bring a good amount of money up here. Especially in the spring.

If you buy one with a hard top I’ll gladly take it off your hands…no need for the extra weight and it looks like garbage.
