last time i saw this problem, i found a program that took care of the permissions. it had to do it at a fairly low level. google? sorry i canāt be of more help
why use a program when u can just disable simple file sharing
i was just thinking, this wasnt really a hardware change. It was, but it was unplanned. Normally i would have backed up before installing anything, but my MOBO took a shit on me and i bought one to replace it.
