you join and you are gauranteed some type of deployment. this isnt peace time Military anymore where you can do 4-6 year enlistment and not go anywhere.
i was deployed or involved in some type of operation 3 of my 5 years on my enlistment. 2 years of which i spent out to sea.
all branches offer 100% tuition while on AD, but depending on your OPTEMPO you may, or may not have time for the schooling.
if you want to do things in a computerized environment, Navy or Airforce is the way to go.
