The problem is that most of the stuff out of china is NOT up to the same quality. And a lot of the times the US people are not allowed to go there and audit the quality systems and controls because most factories are Government controlled.

As such, anything military we’re handing them the Chinese government is collecting, analizing, reverse engineering, sabotaging, etc; especially if it’s military stuff.

We just pulled all our production out of China due to quality and cost issues. It’s actually cheaper to make it here at better quality than it is to go over there and import it.

Quoted for truth. We supply to many military projects/DFAR compliance projects and I have seen offshore components for similar applications, its certainly not up to par.

Look at Walter Reed medical center… you think the U.S. government gives two shits? Injured soldiers from the middle-east expected top-notch care when they came back to the U.S. but they were greeted with a rat infested hospital in very poor condition. Billions spent and our injured soldiers didn’t even have a quality hospital to recover in.
