misfireing..

I’m having an issue with my car. When I get up to about 2800 rpm I’m getting a misfire or something. It’ll lose power, and if I try and keep my foot on the pedal it’ll backfire. The megasquirt software looks good. It has to be something else. Looking at my data logs, at a couple spots, it will spike. RPM will go from 2800 down to 1300 back to 2800 in a second at the same time coolant temp will jump from 185 up to 210 then back down. Right after that happens and and I let off the gas, spark advance will jump up and so does the afr.
I think its some kind of signal noise. I tried cleaning and retightening grounds, added more grounds, added an inline noise filter right before the megasquirt. I bought new spark plugs and wires. None of that helped.
Any suggestions on what would help? I need to get this thing working asap.

cannot be solved via internet.

someone needs to take a look at your logs and test drive it and go from there.

ur right, its probably interference…if not, then bump ign up a few degrees and/or bump fuel down a few notches.

ok… anyone feel like going for a ride?
also… logs and msq’s are here

I figured it out. I think the vb921 ignition drivers went bad. I have it running spark off the stock pcm now and it works pretty good.
