Left sat morning about 4 am drove to Michigan and picked up this gem.
1969 Chevelle, almost all new panels, a ton of extra parts, needs a rear floor pan, you would not belive the how clean the under side is (except the floor pan) Had to pull the rear end cover off and use a propane torch as the rear end was full of water and it froze (we couldnt move the car) never seen that before. No drive train, but my buddy has a 427 bbc on a stand for it.
Try watering/seeding your lawn next spring
I think when I go for an old school build up its going to be a Chevelle.
Nice!!! That’s the car I’d love to have someday… a BB '69 Chevelle…
you’re not allowed to have this much awesomeness in one garage
Its not for me. Good buddy’s.
This is why i dont understand why you guys build honda’s. To each their own but you can find projects like this. You’d cry if i told ya what we paid for it.
looks really clean.good luck with it
VERY nice
ah okay, i thought the bb was going in this car that you were buying from him lol, and hondas will be cool in 30years too
The more posts I see from you, the more I am swaying towards an old school build.
btw, that is a beautiful looking project
I still haven’t figured it out either. I see this and all i can think is omg this is so sexy/bad ass
I’m curious, my buddy bought one a few years back and I always thought he overpaid.
Awesome! Looks like someone already did most of the bodywork for you. There was a '71 Chevelle sitting next to the Cutlass I just bought, and by the look of the rusted Cragars, it has been in the barn for a while.
gorgeous, one of my favorites alongside a challenger and a 67 stang, that will be one seriously pretty car in no time
there’s a 69 SS here at RIT, can’t figure out who owns it, though I know its another freshman, either way I smile from ear to ear every time i see it
My favorite year for them, well that and 1970. a 427 in that with a crusher will make a killer combo
Glad to see you’re keeping busy in the winter months.
