stop using internet explorer. Use Mozilla Firefox.
IE fucking blows. Firefox will reduce 99.9% of your pop-ups and viruses.
Depending on what venom is doing with the Internet… he may not be able to access to certain applications. Many applications use ONLY IE. If he is just surfing it should be ok. Panic ware pop up stopper works well. I use it here and at home.
You should also run an ad cleaner…
Go to this website and download ad aware… it is also free. You should run it at least once per week depending on your internet usage.
It should be the first one on the list.
ive never encountered anything that doesnt work with Firefox. I know they are out there, but i dont have a problem. And if I did, i could just switch over and use IE for a few minutes. ActiveX = teh lose
