Ok well I just started riding I’ve been riding for about a month now, I have a 2001 buell blast. My question is what are some good riding routes out there that you guys take? I live in kenmore so when I go out i normaly go all the way down river road starting at the dunlop plant head to the blvd and take the blvd all the way and swing back around. It seems like a good route alot of motor cyclist. so where do you guys go out riding? My other question is, is there any weekly motor cycle shows or meets around here?
I belonged to the wnysportriders.com or .net or .org whatever the hell it is. If you want a really good route drive up and down tonawanda creek both ways. Not many cops(knock on wood) and its not far away. Youll get used to the corners there also. The if you go into like West Seneca and get off of the Transit Rd exit near Sunoco there are some crazy routes out there. Mapquest out that way but I would recommend going with someone that has alot of experience with those roads. PM Willybean. He rides alot. I sold my bike so I cant help to much except for telling you some routes.
a bunch of us usually meet at club w around noon on sundays and go for a ride.

^^word, cruise night on wednesdays is always a good time, you can usually find some people to ride with out there. also try looking up some areas in the southtowns, also i hear lewiston has some nice roads as well too.
+1. Lewiston definitely has some awesome roads. Just watch out for the ones further towards the rez. They are fun but at times have plenty of debris on them.
Also watch the cruise night crowd. Some are seasoned riders and know what they are doing but most are young kids that really lack proper discipline and skill.
Most important though. Ride within your skill level. Dont try to keep up with people if they are going at a pace uncomfortable for you.

Me and a kid I play poker with regularly at Niagara cruise down that way a lot esp since my gf lives in NT. Its a nice easy ride. I wonder if I have passed you a few times.

Heres some pics of my bike idk if anyone cares to see it but I figured i might as well post it while im intoducing myself. Its a 2001 Buell bast with only 3.700 miles on it when i bought it. I pick up the bike for 1,500 had it paint for the cost of a 12 pack by my dads buddy. It has a exhaust and I took off the stock mirors and put a bar end miror on it. The bike fits me perfect, Im only 5’ 7" not a bad 1 st bike.

I dont want to sound like a pro rider because i am far from it, but for newbs to 2 wheels it is a long shot to ask for good routes and backroads. I would say stick to normal country roads during day time to get your experience up. check sig for local bike forum
