Rental trucks FTMFL!
Look in to ABF UPack, the best way to move when you don’t have the funds to go with a full blown mover. Driving a rental truck is horrid, and in most cases UPack is cheaper. Give them your shit, drive your car down, rinse, repeat, profit?

Convince your girlfriend that she doesn’t really need to take any of the furniture, and it will be way cheaper.
Shipping your 50 dollar dresser will cost more than it is worth. Same deal for a lot of items.
I could make it down there with just a cargo van.
Remember those big trucks get like 6mpg and plan on spending 30 cents a mile, plus gas, plus a daily fee.

I just got a quote from them of $1116. That less than half what other places have started to tell me. Looks like I found my truck.
I see the ABF trucks going down the 90 around here ALL THE TIME.
Seriously tons of people must be moving out of the Queen City.
They seem like the way to go, they charge by the foot on the truck.
