just bought a 97 civic, ive seen alot of hondas with mugen parts so i want to get an oppion about these parts

What are you planning to do with the car. For the most part I wouldn’t advise using mugen stuff because it costs so much money. There are cheaper alternatives that work well enough for far less money.
If your a die hard honda guy than jump on any mugen parts you can find but what was said is right. Other things work just as good for much less. Hondas are great cars though. It still hurts to cut a type R in 2. For hard to find parts cheak out
