Mugen Power: Euro Civic Type R (FN2)

Looks like Mugen has made some parts for the latest CTR.

  • Air Cleaner / Box

  • Exh Manifold

  • Catalytic Converter

  • Muffler

  • No CPU changes at the moment

  • Sachs dampers

  • Springs w/ increased rate

  • Upgraded clutch

  • Buncha aero parts (wing, fenders, bumper)

  • 4-2-1 Stainless Exhaust Manifold w/ “Sports” Catalyzer (260,400 YEN)
  • “Sports Exhaust System” muffler designed to go around center-tank design in FN, all stainless with TIG welds, JASMA compliant (194,250 YEN)

  • Sachs dampers designed to work with sports springs, 3.8 kg/mm front, 4.1 kg/mm rear

Set runs 157,500 YEN.

Crazy expensive stuff… Oh well, too bad they don’t sell the car here. Heheh.]

I like that exhaust.

~$1700 doesn’t seem that bad for them, as long as they’re good and consistent I’d much rather pay good money for a high quality set of struts and springs vs coilovers if they suit the application of the vehicle just fine :).

My Prodrive setup is around $2500. Prodrive spec’d Bilstein struts and Eibach springs ftw. I’m pretty sure Byron has them on his wagon too.
Much more durable in the winter.

I think BM or HV just did a stock FD2 vs FN2 comparison.
