ISIS or ISIL? 
i was pretty busy all day yesterday but i did notice the difference in coverage that the canadian media was putting out versus the US media for this same incident and then compared to past incidents.
Peter Mansbridge did a great job being level headed and fact-based about the whole thing. The image above is pretty telling as well. I turned to Fox news last night by accident for 5 minutes and couldnt bear to watch it for any longer. when it comes to Fox News… I Can’t Even.

dude’s FB looks just like mine and many of ours I imagine. not trying to slight any other fallen person from any of the last incidents like this but since the dude lived 10 minutes from me and with some common friends that pic of his son with the sign kicked my feels in the feels

Its no doubt that cities have heavy armed task forces to respond to special situations like this. Only in the US do these SWAT teams respond to warrants, protests, exist in small towns to take normal calls, and roll military gear for non major crimes.
