thats some funny shit mang :FTP: :madfawk:
what is it with everyone and FTP… yall the people the first to call them if something goes wrong.
negative. The last people you want involved is the Fucking police. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt a couple months ago. My truck got egged by some bastards on a railroad bridge. I called the cops and tried to give them the location as I chased these little punks down. The dispatch was all like, Stay where you are, dont chase them down. I’m like. Naw, I got a .40 cal. I’ll be alright. Soo, instead of catching the hoodlums, I get into an argument with dispatch, cause I’m not being a pussy enough for him. Then I finally colaborate with a cop on the scene, like 20 min after the kids bolted. The cop tells me, “Man I wish you got a hold of one of those fuckers.”
The time before that. A friend of mine wrecked his car speeding. His first smart move, called me. Then he fucked up. He called the police. Said he slid on some ice and wrecked his car. He left it half in the road/half in the hillside, untill they came. I showed up right after the cops. Their all standing around trying to fuck up traffic as much as possible, and trying to figure out how they can wright somone a ticket. Long story short, Cops only fucked up traffic, delayed clean up, ticketed my friend, and brought a shit load of attitude. On top of that they confiscated his gun while they where there. The were trying to not give it back because it wasn’t registered to him. Even though it came up clean, and not stolen, and he had a concealed carry permitt.

WTF?
There is no gun registration in the United States, Pennsylvania, or even Pittsburgh.
How did they check the “registration”!? They were either bullshitting him to scare him…or they actually don’t know the laws they’re supposed to enforce.
whatever. first situation sounds like a problem with the dispatch and not the police and your friend is the ass who wrecked.
Both. They actually do have that shit registered to you. When ever you buy a gun, the send all the paper work, with the serial number and your name to Harrisburgh. They do log that gun as yours. He bought that gun used. Since the states takes so long to do anything, it still came up as the original purchasers. We say, did it come up stolen. Their like, No. So we say, Ok, we’ll take the gun and be on our way then. They tried to fight it for like another half hour. They can check to see if its been registered in his name. Their just not allowd to do anything about it if it aint.
Plus I am an asshole to cops if they have the slightest attitude. I’m like, I employ your fuckin ass. Your not here because of me, your here for me.
on an individual basis, all cops are egotistical assholes. Even off duty. They have to much power to handle. Power corrupts.
yup^
i am ‘an asshole’ that wrecked on ice… never tohught i would, but at 2am in january sometimes it gets bad out… oh yeah, and it was a snow storm… so i hit ice and slide off the road, stuck because i drive a lowered car.
cop drives past, calls his boy… his boy comes down the hill knowing of the accident / ice… almost wrecks into my car (slides into some lady’s yard)… gets out and talks to the other cop.
then comes up to me, shining flashlights in my eyes, then asks me “what happened son” i said “slide on ice” he says “you been drinking tonight? … mind if we search your car”
i was like “fuck yeah i mind, you almost wrecked int he same place knowing there was ice… so how does that work?” … he said… “well you should be careful in bad weather”
gee… thanks…
/cops
ALL cops? way to generalize.

This information is required ONLY because a background check is required on all firearms purchases from a liscensed federal firearms dealer AND on all handgun purchases (you can buy a rifle from a private party with no background check).
The Pennsylvania State Police handle firearm purchase background checks here in Pennsylvania, which is why the information is sent to Harrisburg.

This is an extremely controversial issue.
As I said, there is no gun “registration”. No law has EVER been passed by the US government or Pennsylvania’s state government creating a gun registry or gun registration.
For several years, the Pennsylvania State Police were illegally, unconstitutionally keeping all records of gun purchases as an underhanded form of “registration”. As you said, there were no penalties associated with not having a gun “registered” to you as the “registration” wasn’t real (or legal).
Local pro-gun/sportsman groups across the state, acting with the NRA, filed against the State Police and won in federal court, the State Police were forced by the federal government to destroy this illegal “registry” of gun ownership.
Lots of cops don’t know the laws they are supposed to enforce, ESPECIALLY gun laws as they can be excedingly complicated.

opps, did I say “All” cops. I ment, ALL mother @#$!ing cops. :spank:
