Murdered civic on the thruway

not what I expected from a story called “murdered civic on the thruway…” sorry to hear, I can relate.

personally, if you want to keep the car and have it as a rock’em sock’em hatch, I would sink a grand into a decent daily driver accord, then build the motor back up the way you want over winter. this way, you have a backup in case this happens again, or if you want to do work to it and tie it up for a few days, etc.

if you just want to get the thing back on the road, set aside a day or two from work and get some stock pistons put in.

it sucks, but it won’t be quite as bad once you’ve got a game plan and start following through with it. good luck though

:word: Can’t be too expensive to put in a d-series, considering how many of them are probably in perfectly good working condition when their owners swap them out for b or k series…

bought a stock 92 talon non turbo and am done with it, i’m move to pa now to start school monday no more for the civic for atleast a year.

You had problems with a Honda and now you got a DSM? Talk about jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire…

haha DSM’s are very relaible, hehe
