lookin do some modes on my 95 civic sohc v tech any 1 got any ideas already got cold air header and catback had the car 4 like 2 years and getin sick of how slow it is had the mods i have on it sence i got it
any of ya think a v-tecc controler will do me any good

first off,its a single cam…second,its a honda,but we wont go there yet.
ditch the single cam and do a motor swap,no use in modding something that isnt worth modding.
how much money are u looking to spend to go faster?

Guessing you have an EX.
Edelbrock makes a plug + play emissions legal turbo kit, AND a plug + play Nitrous kit with intake manifold, so you wouldn’t have to do any custom work. An Engine swap isn’t really worth the cash for a street car. You have a 127hp Civic. A B16 is only 160hp, and the swap would cost you a couple grand. You can find that 33hp difference in other ways a hell of a lot cheaper than $2000.
If you want to make your car feel fast, upgrade the suspension first. A good suspension lets you take turns faster + with more confidence. It’ll also make sure your car is well-prepared for adding power.

oooh yes thats right,i almost forgot.just because one honda out there runs 10’s,they call can.dont be such a fucking idiot.ok lets crunch some numbers.the edelbrock turbo kit runs almost 3500 bucks,thats the cost of a gsr motor swap.
for 3500 u could swap in an LS motor,(140hp,127lb ft) and be able to keep up or even beat the single cam civics with the turbo kit,for about the same cost,but have much more potential than a single cam,and its probably easier to just swap in the LS motor than putting on that turbo kit on the single cam would be.
