Edelbrock makes a plug + play emissions legal turbo kit, AND a plug + play Nitrous kit with intake manifold, so you wouldn’t have to do any custom work. An Engine swap isn’t really worth the cash for a street car. You have a 127hp Civic. A B16 is only 160hp, and the swap would cost you a couple grand. You can find that 33hp difference in other ways a hell of a lot cheaper than $2000.

If you want to make your car feel fast, upgrade the suspension first. A good suspension lets you take turns faster + with more confidence. It’ll also make sure your car is well-prepared for adding power.

B. it is 170hp on a NEW motor not a beat one.

as for Bisi running 10’s he did that low 10 on a F22 motor with pure race gas in a pure race car and a carbed motor. since you are an idiot I will tell you that set up is in NO way streetable and would never ever ever pass emissions. did you know he only backed up that 10 once?

either way buy a swap(LS would be my choice) and then save money and boost that and have a solid 12 second car on stock internals instead of a 14 second car that is a ticking time bomb.

well it made NHRA weight so it is “heavy” for a import drag car…I would guess about 1600-1700 at most

I don’t even know who Bisi is. I’m talking about the many all-motor cars that are finally dropping.

As for swaps and such, I looked at the kid’s English and inability to spell VTEC and gave the easiest/most accessible options. I never said it would run 10s. Reading > most of you.

3500 for a LS is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to much… IMO… if you know someone you can get a wrecked GSR for about 3000 on copart… some fetch more then that wrecked… mainly because some 16 yr old whos dad owns a dealership has his creditcard to keep bidding.

i didnt mean 3500 for just the swap numbnuts,2k for the swap,then do timing belt,water pump,having someone install it because this kid obviously isnt very good at turning wrenches and so on.

Chaz, give up on the 95 SOHC vtec motor, in that car it wont be to fast other then slapping a turbo on it, but that is money to do it right.
