Cool edit pro, was great for splitting and viewing files.
audacity, i heard has GREAT functionality and free… Of course all software now a days is free, in my eyes.
In terms of changing tempos… It takes a lot, I mean a lot to change the tempo of the song with out changing the pitch, and timbre. High end programs will do this… I don’t know of any easily available programs… Things like:
Pro Tools, I know can.
Cool edit, cannot. So in terms of beat matching… Wait til Darkkstar, or dj heat come in… they should know
