Yeah and a clutch thats not dragging and now it seems to be getting fuel so it should run better. I havent ran there since smoking the clutch earlier this year.
oh yeah and that clutch cable is way to tight dude loosen that up a bit lets out way to high your not gettin full engagement ya could play a tune on that cable
I had a guy with a shop in Wynantskill that races a Mustang adjust it for me last month and thats where he set it. It was alot worse before I took it to him after I replaced the clutch.
no shit id still loosen it up bout half in or so but its your car it rip that clutch up soon though
Ill have to play with it a bit when I can. Im not really sure what Im doing with it and I think me playing with it was part of the reason it blew up the first time.

you know… we talked at the lot the other night you had said it wasnt tuned… like i said that night i bet if you have it tuned it will run alot smoother granted i dont know how much your car depends on the computer, like my car every thing is computerized even the guage pod is run by the computer. it still has minor issues and until i run out to the crm diablo dealer out in jersey i wont ever have it running to its best ablity.
redline is local they use sct, the other thing is you could buy an anderson pms unit (bout a thousand bucks) and do it yourself its a more in depth unit then a sct or diablo hand held so it does alot more and from what i hear most of the real fast mustangs are running that tuning software… in any case you have quite a bit done to the car so i would imagene a tune would be in order to make it all sing together and make more power.
I just need to make it mechanically ok before I get it tuned and then come up with the money to get it tuned.
From what Ive heard Redline sucks at tuning Mustangs. Im not all that good with computer stuff so I probably wouldnt be too good at the PMS.

Another setback with the shit pile- it started overheating and blowing steam on the thruway on the way to work this morning. After I pulled into the rest stop it cooled a bit and stopped steaming but the temp gauge kept spiking up and then going back to normal.
On the way home it did that a few times but no steaming.
No sense in tuning the POS if its going to shit on me like this.
i understand your feeling on the tuning part… see if doug can do somthing with it… and if he cant fit you in try charlie up of exit 8 grooms road. it seems like there might be a few little things that when you add them up its a headache…

Im not sure about the thermostat- its fairly new and I never had any issue with it until today.
Charlie did some work on the car last fall.
ive never had an issue with them…, ive yet to see a car leave their shop with issues directly related to their work.
with all that stuff you deffinatly need a tune…im almost wanting to say if you get it tuned it will solve a good deal of the issues at hand… i know i sound like a broken record. see you later if you are going out.

I cant get it tuned with all the mechanical issues Ive been having and fixing those issues is blowing my mod/tuning money.
wow, I had about half your problems(blowing coolant hoses, endless check engine lights and alt wire coming loose) and I said Fuck it im selling it. Not worth the headaches
