My 1965 Nova II- 8.85@153.5 - Turbo kit FS

Solids response.

There is a happy medium here folks…

Wheelies yet @cougarspeed ?

Taking this to Food Truck Tuesday dude?

Stephanie wants to go in the Miata, it’d be cool to cruise up.

I wasn’t saying to do everything yourself, I was replying to the idea of “if you can’t do it don’t” as orangess says more people should follow. By that ideology we would never expand our base of knowledge, and never experience the joy of building something ourselves. As an engineer the most satisfying thing I experience is taking on a challenge that I have no idea how to approach and having a functional finished project.

The same approach I take towards my cars and motorcycles…but to each their own.

Great build, I can’t wait to see this thing on the dyno.

Fggtry… Gtfo! Moar burnouts, less shower leap frog.

I am in for Tuesday as long as I dont have to go to this work dinner thing.

Burnouts Sunday.

I still got it.

:tspry:

2nd a fuel gauge, more fuel and foam to put in the cell. It works.

I have a fuel gauge just need to wire it up. Maybe tomorrow

Brake lights and blinkers fixed. Found one pin in the wrong location on the harness for the pass flasher.

Then I rewired in two new sockets, power wires, and grounds. Some connections were t-tap and some were just twisted together then tape lol. All better now

Tomorrow I will look into the fuel gauge. Two wires from the tank are 0-90ohm I believe. Do they both go to the gauge or just one and one to ground. Woud it matter which goes to ground?

In for a cruise this afternoon

Had a blast today boosting all over town with fggnirish. Met up with @dpm90iroc and cruised for a bit.

Car is moving pretty damn good on 6psi. Very happy

Drove a solid 40-50mi Car handles and stops great at speed.

We should do pushrod cruises after I fix a couple things

 pushrods

sounds like this came together really nicely

A beaner using coffee beans as an example, go figure lmao.

Ima smoke all you fools!

Here are some pics!
Overboosting but man was it fast - found a leak in the source line that fixed this. Rock solid at 6.5psi now. Tested about 50x yesterday haha
14ish psi at under 5k part throttle. haha

One gate wasn’t opening. All fixed now. They have a 6.5psi spring in now. I am going to change them again to 8-10. So on the manual boost controller I can get 18ish.

Fixing the brake lights. Eliminated a bunch of T-Taps, found a connector in the wrong pin, new grounds. All better.

Out cruising and stopped at the scale. 3160lbs. Full stainless exhaust, 15gal of gas, metal hood, 9", comfy seats. I was very happy. I think some fiberglass body parts, built alum motor, drop exhaust and one seat and this car could have a 2800lbs race weight. But who knows if that time will ever come.

 Looks great! I need to meet up one of these nights. Got my shit running and it’s been parked since.

dat exhaust
