Everyone text @turbociv to let me use his dyno Thursday. Either going to make a bunch of jams or explode. It will be sweet either way.
Who is going to guess on what it will make? Im willing to run it up to like 17-18psi I think. Pretty harsh for stock internals but NFG I guess. Only running 11-12* timing. Have a spare motor anyhow.
I am guessing 700rwhp at 17psi. Mind you this type of combo eats some power on the dyno. Auto, big tire, non lockup converter, 9".
Probably going to baseline at 6psi. My guess for that is 475rwhp.

We talked some and I think it is going to be Friday morning for me. He is working on another car Thursday that he wanted to wrap up. I was planning to head there around 10am. Hopefully I only need 2 hours 3 max to get the tune close. I don’t really feel like messing with wastegates day of so I think I am going to swap to the 8psi spring tonight. That should let me run up to 15-16psi on the boost controller. That will be it for now. Once I install an electronic boost controller this winter I will go to 20-22psi and shoot a rod through the block for fun

Changed the wastegate springs after work today. My lowest setting is now 11psi

:tup: to the veteran plate. I got the standard flag one but before that I got pulled over 6 times in one season in my Vette for BS reasons. Since, nothing for 3 years.

Yeah I have been meaning to get them. The process is bogus though. I filled out the forms but keep forgetting to put the current plate on there. I am going to hopefully send them out Monday. no clue how long they take to come in.

A little more detail on the changes yesterday.
I installed 9psi springs. In real world testing I am seeing about 11psi. This is now my low boost setting. Car feels much MUCH faster. I have reason to believe :snky: (involved party can share if they want) that the car was about a 128-130mph car on 6psi with 12* timing.
It is much faster on 11psi. Current issues. I logged a few counts of knock up top but am only running 11* so im assuming false. But am not making any changes till more data is collected. My idle is also acting up(surging) as was not before.
