Common? There aren’t a lot of 66/67 Chevelles around the area. Honestly hard to find. Plus this one isn’t going to be stock
The 396 is getting built. It’s a 360hp factory, but we’re adding some toys to it.
Yes. And my dad is driving it too since I’m keeping it at his house.
Been driving and enjoying the Chevelle for the past month. Drives amazingly good for a 48 year old car. It’s amazingly clean with all original panels, no rust, and little or no body filler. Rare for a car that spent it’s entire like in Maine or New York.
We replaced the slipping Powerglide with a Turbo 350, installed a Hurst QuarterStick shifter, and replaced the original bench seat with a pair of 2010 Camaro cloth bucket seats. We also POR15 the underbody and cleaned out the engine compartment.
Working on the wish list for the build. Working with some great partners on the build too. And now have some friends building cars to unveil at the Buffalo Motorama alongside of my Chevelle in March 2014.
Going to start tearing it apart September 1st after it’s last show, the Olcott Beach Car Show on August 31
