My 1970 Monte Carlo and 1981 Honda Civic restorations...

As most of you know last year I built that 1978 Monte Carlo drag car…and put it into a wall. lol

Anywho…after that I picked up a 1970 Monte Carlo that came from North Carolina:

And one thing led to another annnnn

Then we decided to get rid of my wife’s Jetta for something more fuel efficient and practical…which resulted in me giving her my 2013 Chevy Cruze and picking up probably the cleanest stock 2000 Integra GS-R in the country:

(I have original floor mats but wanna preserve them.

But the integra is so damn nice I don’t want to DD it and rack up miles…so I picked up a more practical DD that is not AS NICE but still good on gas…which landed me a 1981 Civic with 76,500 miles:

Minus the shot paint and sun faded interior, It’s extremely clean.

And because I can’t leave thins alone…

And thats where I stand. lol DDing Integra for now until Civic is done being painted. If anybody knows where I can get parts, that lead would be great. Then once I park and possibly sell Integra, I’ll be DDing the civic and finishing off the Monte. Hopefully they’re all done and on the road this summer. lol

Updates to come…

Putting your old set up in the Monte? Similar weights?

I thought a 785hp big block would be more fun in a 1500lb civic. Lol But eventually it will go into monte on E85, but for now the Monte is going back to all stock.

Nice clean cars!!!

Awesome

That civic is awesome. 5 speed D series or LS swap would be awesome, all the mpgs still

Computers are stupid though. lol

Lol fair enough!

PM me re. the sale of the GSR please…

Setting up the wiring to run an obd1 ecu isn’t really that difficult IMO.

sucks you wrecked the '78. The '78-80 Monte Carlo’s are my all time favorite cars

I guess you could say things are getting serious…

Now I need opinions here…since the car isn’t worth squat…no real point in trying to keep it original to save value…soooo

Stock color or diffrent color?
Keep side trim or shave them?
Stock height or SLAM IT?!

Ugh so many decisions to make before it goes to paint…

damn i wish i had my GSR back
