My build up

So, my “Project Mayhem”

So I decided to buy a pretty much falling apart S13 at the beginning of January, and until several weeks ago it has been waiting in line at a body shop to have a framerail replaced :anger .

However, I did get it back just recently and have been on my grind ever since, trying to produce a slick and unique piece of engineering (Ok, Nissan’s engineering…) that can remain somewhat luxurious but perform better than most!

Basically since then I have redone every panel piece by piece, dent pulling, bondo’ing, grinding, sanding, reconstructing, it has been a long process but in the end it should be worth it! Atleast 30 hours have gone into restoring the body, and removing the rust which by yourself is a long time and requires some serious mind numbing skillx0rs.

Anyway, screw my blab about how much time and *ish Ive put into my car - PICTURE TIME!

How I bought her:

Good to see someone around here going a different route with the engine. Should be a really fun car, and way to go on doing all the repair work yourself!

this car happen to have a red momo shift boot and a nismo sticker on the front lip??

edit: it is my old car/first car(from highschool 2001), the rear wiper nozzle is busted off and dented in(isn’t there a sticker covering the hole still?) and those colour coated wiper arms, holy shit this car was a rust box, but that thing held up quite well all the way to grad camp

ya that frame rail had a hole right through it lol as well as the rocker panels, i still ahve the rear mudflaps if you want…

are you in Calgary? bought it off a younger asian kid right?

lol it’s just crazy to see this thing is still going and becoming a project, an interesting one at that.

sitting in my garage because the drive belt broke and i bought another car.

funny story, that big thermos can exhaust i found in an alley, brought it to carline and they put 3 inch piping all the way and it used to backfire a large ball of fire n/a style. sigh ricer days

So I guess you’re responsible for painting the wiper blades and arms? LOL

lol no car was repainted in the east(along with those wiper arms), like over the rust, they didnt even sand it down or try to, just respray the whole car as is

Yeah thats the one, boy is it ever a project :frowning:

Painting it your garage eh?
Hopefully you made it dust free.
Black car + dust = a lot o wet sanding to get it all nice and purdy
Happened to my friends blazer when we painted it.

Looks good so far, keep it up
