Ok so i don’t know how to move entire threads , so i’m just going to copy and paste what i had posted from my first thread and go from there
I Started out Receiving a 240sx from my neighbor for free, looked great at first didn’t know the common problems of the 240sx at the time. Got Further into it and realized it was Far gone :S Continued to work on it till something good came out of it. I decided to go to No Frills in Niagara Falls on a Sunday night to see what sunfires i could find with over sized body kits and dual Spoilers on them, Like The usual line up
… But to my Surprise and a Nissan 240sx pulls in … and then another and another and another …
IT Was SON to the rescue After a long night of talking to people i didn’t know and drooling over there cars i came to realize it was the Bings meet and i had just come across the best thing that could ever happen for me and my 240.
So Heres a few shots of my First Car and my current car and how its coming
… Swiss Cheese anyone ?
Thats how the Rolling chassis i got from welmer is at the moment Front end and everything is just test fitment at the moment
Any idea whose car this was originally lol
Fuck it was cold last night, worked till 1:30 in the morning
… Note to all who plan on Completely swapping all the wiring and interior from one car to the other, Remember where it all goes, Could have had this done a lot sooner had i fallowed the golden rule of Sharpie and Plastic bags
Now i know everyone’s seen there own dashboard and probably the mess of wires under it before, but just taking pics to show my progress , And chances are I’ll have to take this all apart again in the near future but Shit happens, its where I’m at for the moment
Oh and if anyone ever does strip there interior down and and rebuild the dash, take some time to sand and paint the Bar behind it … it only takes a little bit of time and is just nicer to work with haha
Well the dash and interior is all back together
Now on to some serious matters
Drivers side door top hinge area rusted to hell so I’ve cut out as much as i can at the moment, Has any one here repaired this area on there car any thoughts or suggestions?
As well I’ve got this hole that had been repaired with bondo/filler/paper … i dunno what they did i’m sure it worked for a while but I’m picky So has anyone dealt with problems in this area as well? i know it doesent have to be to nice visually just looking for a functional fix
and this is where the car is at the moment
